|Francesco Dracone joins Super Nova International at Budapest
The Auto GP roster approaching round 3 of the 2013 season is still growing. After announcing the deal between Tamas Pal Kiss and the MLR71 team, Auto GP is proud to welcome a new racer for this weekend's race ad the Hungaroring course near Budapest. Italian driver Francesco Dracone will enter the Hungarian round of the championship for Super Nova International. Dracone makes his return to Auto GP after having lined-up in the series' previous seasons and having also enjoyed a stint in the 2010 IndyCar Series.
Francesco Dracone: “I'm delighted to be back to Auto GP. I still haven't had the chance to drive the new car and I can't wait to go on-track for testing to compare it with the previous model. The Hungaroring environment is set to be exciting. The local crowd is very passionate about the sport and is always an active part of our races”.
John Sears: “Super Nova International is proud to welcome Francesco Dracone to the family. He's been one of the main characters of the championship in the last few years and we are happy to have provided him a chance to get back in the saddle”.
Enzo Coloni: “The return of Francesco Dracone to Auto GP demonstrates the interest of racing drivers towards our initiatives and innovations. He has been racing high-power open-wheelers for a while but he will have to deal with a new car. I am sure he will be positively impressed by the progress and development”.
